Last Wednesday, Arkhom Termpittayapaisith said that he expects 40 million international tourists to arrive in Thailand in 2024, Thansettakij reported.

Thailand comes with numerous proposals to enable tourists to visit the country. One of which is an outline plan that allows tourists to visit Phuket starting July 1 without the need to quarantine.
该计划将使普吉岛70%的人口，约930,000人，接受COVID-19疫苗接种。任何访问该国的外国游客也需要接受疫苗接种，并来自所谓的 "低风险 "国家。
如果普吉岛的建议被证明是成功的，它将在10月1日之前推广到泰国的其他热门旅游目的地。
