Read MoreMembers with Thailand Elite’s Privilege Entry visa are eligible to apply for a 2-year Thai Driving License. Members can visit any of the Department of Land Transport offices throughout the country to submit an application and any required documents. An Elite Personal Liaison service can be provided for the document submission process at the Department of Land & Transport Chatuchak office only. (Advance reservation is required)
Valid visa (Thailand Elite visa)
A valid passport (at least 6-month validity) with a signed copy of the first page, visa page, and recent entry stamp with a departure card (A former passport is required in case a current Thai driving license has a former passport number).
A residency certificate is issued by the applicant’s embassy or Immigration Bureau.
** A residency certificate issued by the applicant’s embassy needs to be stamped by an embassy and it is valid for 90 days from the issued date.
** A residency certificate, which is issued by the Immigration Bureau, the applicant needs to have a 90-day report and it is valid for 90 days from the issued date.
A medical certificate that contains two separate parts (the doctor’s part and the patient’s part) and is issued from clinics or hospitals in Thailand stating that the applicant has physical and mental health free from any of the following diseases:
**A medical certificate is valid for 30 days from the issued date.
A valid home country’s driving license must be translated into English by a certified translator agent and needs to be stamped by an embassy for verification.

After the completion of the online training, you will receive a certificate stating that the online training has been passed. Please take a screenshot on your device and send it to us as evidence that you’ve already passed the online training.
Remark:
Please be informed that Thailand Elite provides the assistant service called "EPL (Elite Personal Liaison) service", but the assistant will facilitate you for obtaining or renewing your driving license at the Department of Land Transport Chatuchak office only.
Our service assistance is for the first time free of charge as a complimentary service to all members of Thailand Elite. The service fee will be charged at 2,000 THB from next time onwards.
